Questions

What in the blue blazes is Fieldmoot?

Many of you were blessed the last couple of years when Hutchmoot, the Rabbit Room's annual conference, went online. The presentation was absolutely beautiful! However, with the conference returning to in-person, many people who are unable to attend the in-person conference are feeling bereft (an understatement, really). A group of Rabbit Room folks united earlier this year to take up the banner of an online conference to celebrate and encourage Christians in the creative arts. The conference will take place November 3-6.

Does it cost anything?

Nope. Totally free. We had a very successful Kickstarter a couple months ago to raise money for Fieldkits, an interactive box of goodies similar to the Moot Kit, but sadly, those are gone.

However, you can still support the conference AND get some cool stuff by shopping at our merch store. I have the notebook and shirt and they're awesome.

What can I expect at Fieldmoot?

All the good stuff! Presentations (several people from the Habit are among those sharing), concerts, art demonstrations and exhibits, recipes, and interactive Q&As and Zoom events. For those who didn't go to Homebound, don't feel like you're just going to be sitting in front of your computer for three days. It's going to be so much fun.

I supported the Kickstarter/heard about Fieldmoot/asked for more information but haven't heard anything. Did I miss something? Is it too late to sign up?

No way. We got dealt an unexpected obstacle last week when our web developer fell victim to the hurricane, so things are a little behind. However, we are on track for everything to be ready by the 3rd. Once I have an action item for you, I'll post an update!

Alas, I am busy that weekend. Can I still watch the content after the fact?

Totally! All presentations and stuff will remain online once they initially air.
